Outdoor Group Fitness

These sessions are run usually early morning for up to 12 people. I cater for all abilities and fitness levels and you work at the level that's right for you.


There are numerous reasons to exercise outdoors and in a group setting. Humans are built for movement, and running specifically – our genetics and evolution have centered around a hunter gatherer way of life, for which running, obviously outside and in a group was central, so using the body in this way feeds into both our physical and mental wellbeing.  

Scientific research has shown that:

  • Outdoor activity prevents the onset of Alzheimer’s and dementia.

  • Group exercise lowers stress and improves mental well-being.

  • Physical activity reduces the risk of cancer.

  • Exercising in the morning improves productivity through the day.

  • Running stimulates serotonin release which improves mood.

  • Exercise improves the balance of the microbiome, improving immunity.


My Outdoor Group Fitness Classes

Held at various beautiful locations on the Malvern Hills, the sessions take place at 6:30am and 9:15am on Monday and Friday.  The first session allows you to fit in a great motivating and productivity building exercise session before you start your day, the second to get the kids to school before you have some ‘me’ time.

These are hard workouts and you will feel the burn, but with the focus on technique and the quality of each exercise or movement, you will get the most out of the workout without putting undue stress on the body.

Cursing allowed, laughing essential! Bring your sense of humour!

We will use bodyweight, bands and logs. We will run, jump, crawl, do burpees, plank and press-ups. No two workouts will be the same and by attending every session you are guaranteed to improve your fitness and strength.
